We are searching for a BUSINESS CONTROLLER for PiBond Oy in Espoo

PiBond is looking for a Business Controller to strengthen the fast-growing team located in Espoo and globally. The position will be particularly suitable for a person with a few years’ work experience in financial management or controlling. In your role, you will oversee the financial operations of the Group reporting to the CFO (abroad). You will produce valuable financial and management analysis, reports to the executive team, Board of Directors, and shareholders. You will also coordinate our financial reporting to relevant authorities. You will have the opportunity to develop your work methods and the tools around your work.

Your task will include

• Providing internal financial analysis both on Group level and parent company.
• Providing financial and management recommendations to the Executive Team and Board of Directors
• Managing the processes for financial forecasting and budgets, and overseeing the preparation of financial reporting
• Managing the financial reporting to Governmental and financial institutions
• Timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and implementation of accounting controls
• Advising on long-term business and financial planning
• Objectively reviewing current processes and systems to identify opportunities to improve
• Operating in the overall financial planning process and compliance functions
• Coordination and preparation of materials for investors and shareholders
• Coordination, preparation, and processing of applications of grants and subsidies

 Qualifications expected

• Applicable work experience from a financial role preferably in an export company
• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or MBA; expertise in Accounting is a must
• Fluent Finnish and English
• A dynamic and hands-on mindset with a readiness to make decisions quickly
• Eagerness to operate in a startup environment with a flat structure
• Good skills in Excel
