We are seeking a defence and security-oriented salesperson, to Senior Account Manager role, to join the successful and international Rohde & Schwarz Team.

Rohde & Schwarz Finland Oy is a subsidiary of Rohde & Schwarz Group that provides sales, professional services and maintenance services covering all business fields of Rohde & Schwarz. Rohde & Schwarz Finland Oy is looking for the Senior Account Manager to the Vantaa office, belonging to the Rohde & Schwarz Finland organization and Nordic Sales Team. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for promoting Rohde & Schwarz product portfolio and services for customers, especially in the field defence and security environment and industry. You will contribute to additional business development, strengthening the relationship with the customers, and addressing all business areas with customers and stakeholders.

We expect you to have experience and skills like:

  • Strong analytical skills, sales oriented, and customer focused attitude.
  • Business development drive and entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Ability to communicate with customers and colleagues – credible and with integrity.
  • Technology interest and understanding of current electronic industry technologies and RF basics, for example within the areas radio communications and information technology.
  • Great teamwork ability and positive attitude.
  • Good proficiency in English and in Finnish language (written and spoken).
  • Bachelor / master’s university degree in Technology or related field of studies.

This task consists of:

  • Understanding customer needs, to best position Rohde & Schwarz to meet those requirements.
  • Identifying new sales opportunities and developing existing customer relationships.
  • Building and managing a strong sales funnel.
  • Preparing and compiling sales quotations and participating in contract negotiations with customers until contracts are concluded.
  • Initiating own customer visits/trips together with Application Engineers, Technical Specialists and Product Managers.
  • Sharing customer feedback with internal stakeholders.
  • Representing Rohde & Schwarz in seminars and trade fairs.
